The Local Government Board of the Alcalá de Henares City Council has given the green light to a new call to allocate several municipally owned homes for rent through a draw. The aim is to facilitate access to housing for the city's youth.
According to the City Council, the procedure will be carried out through a public draw, ensuring an objective, public and transparent process among all accepted applications. The official bases of the call will be published, detailing the requirements, the deadline for submitting applications, and the necessary documentation.
To be eligible for these homes, interested parties must meet a series of conditions: be under 32 years old, not exceed the established income limit, not own another home, and prove uninterrupted residency in the municipality for the previous two years.
This initiative is part of the management of the Municipal Housing Park and is part of the policies promoted by the City Council to expand access to housing opportunities. The municipal government continues to work on mobilising municipal housing and promoting new affordable rental developments to respond to the families of Alcalá.
