A total of 2,954 people have completed their training this year on the free platform of CIFE in Fuenlabrada, which offers 300 multimedia courses. In 2025, over 10,000 students enrolled in 3,815 courses.
The School 3.0 of the Centre for Initiatives and Training for Employment (CIFE) in Fuenlabrada continues to establish itself as one of the main educational resources in the municipality. So far this year, 2,954 people have completed 100% of the requested training, according to data provided by the City Council.
This free access platform offers 300 interactive multimedia courses organised by areas such as languages, administration and management, human resources, graphic design, office automation, hospitality, environmental management, and healthcare. The aim is to facilitate learning in areas demanded by the job market and improve the integration of local residents.
The balance from last year reinforces the significance of this initiative: over 10,000 students enrolled in 3,815 courses, and the platform recorded more than 19,500 users. The duration of each course ranges from 10 to 200 hours, and students are not allowed to enroll in more than one at a time. Upon completion of the training, a certificate of achievement is awarded.
The Councillor for Economic Development, Javier Bokesa, highlighted that “School 3.0 is a virtual platform that can be accessed 365 days a year and at any time of day, and now, during the summer, is a very appropriate time to start one of the courses offered.”
The courses include practical exercises, additional teaching resources, and a help phone line for technical advice. To enroll, you must be of legal age and registered in Fuenlabrada. Registration can be done at any time through the CIFE website and is completely free.
With this model, the council aims for residents to take advantage of the summer months to train at no cost and with flexible hours, an opportunity especially useful for those looking to enhance their CV or redirect their professional career.
