Residents of Pozuelo de Alarcón can now purchase their tickets for the concerts of the Consolation festivities, which will take place from September 5 to 13. As a new feature, the City Council is offering a bracelet that grants access to all concerts for 10 euros.
The City Council of Pozuelo de Alarcón opened the preferential ticket sales for the patron saint festivities in honour of Our Lady of Consolation this Friday, which will be held from September 5 to 13. Residents of the municipality can purchase up to four tickets per person through the Giglon platform, while general sales will begin on August 25.
The musical programme includes a dozen performances by national artists such as Vanesa Martín, Pignoise, Despistaos, Marlena, Marlon, Depol, and Nena Daconte, as well as DJ sessions and tributes to groups like Estopa, U2, Fito y Fitipaldis, and Mecano. The concerts will be held at the provisional fairgrounds and the Plaza del Padre Vallet, in the city centre.
As a main novelty this year, the City Council has implemented a bracelet system for residents that will allow access to all concerts and DJ sessions in the tent for a single price of 10 euros. The bracelets are personal and non-transferable, are available in limited quantities, and can be collected at the Espacio Cubo from the second half of August until the day before the festivities begin.
Daily tickets for the concerts are priced at 2 euros, except for Vanesa Martín's concert, which will cost 15 euros. The full pass represents significant savings for residents wishing to attend multiple days. The City Council recommends purchasing tickets in advance to avoid queues and ensure access.
The festivities will kick off on Saturday, September 5, with performances by DJ Pulpo and Pignoise in the tent, while Sunday, September 6, will be dedicated to ‘Indie Night’, featuring two concerts whose artists will be revealed in the first week of August. On Monday, September 7, the Málaga singer Vanesa Martín will perform, and on Thursday, September 10, it will be the turn of Despistaos and Marlena. On Friday, September 11, Marlon will take the stage, and on Saturday, September 12, Black Out Festival and 84 will perform.
There will also be free concerts in the Plaza del Padre Vallet, such as Depol's on Saturday, September 5, and Nena Daconte's on Saturday, September 12. Additionally, the cuplé artist Olga María Ramos and a flamenco singer yet to be confirmed will perform. Local bands La Inseparable, La Unión Musical, and La Lira will also have their space in the programme.
The invited DJs include Lady Tupé, Mike Fajardo, Willy Alcocer, and McFly, who will entertain the nights in the tent. The Generational Gathering, featuring tributes to Estopa and U2, will be another attraction, along with tributes to Fito y Fitipaldis and Mecano.
The City Council of Pozuelo de Alarcón has reminded that tickets for the tent concerts can be purchased via the link provided on Giglon, and that the 10 euro bracelets are only available for residents. Interested residents should keep an eye on the collection date at the Espacio Cubo, which will be announced soon.
The patron saint festivities of Our Lady of Consolation are one of the most anticipated events of the year in Pozuelo, and this year the City Council has aimed to facilitate access to the concerts with affordable prices and the new multi-concert bracelet. High demand is expected, so it is recommended to purchase tickets as soon as possible.
