The Madrid town will celebrate the Fiestas de Santiago Apóstol from July 22 to 26 with a dozen free musical performances in the Plaza de Los Belgas and the Plaza de La Estación.

Collado Villalba is preparing for a week of music and festive atmosphere for the Fiestas de Santiago Apóstol, which will kick off on Wednesday, July 22, and run until Sunday, July 26. The Town Hall has confirmed a lineup that includes artists such as Café Quijano, Gonzalo Hermida, and DeMarco Flamenco, all with free entry.

A Wednesday of opening speech and DJ

The celebrations will begin on July 22 with the opening speech, followed at 11:00 PM by the performance of the Orquesta Séptima Avenida in the Plaza de Los Belgas. Following this, the XI DJ Fest will take place, featuring the winners of the local contest: DJ Hugo García, DJ SamuuFdez (Samuel Fernández), and DJ Vicheerd (Diego Hernández), led by DJ Jacobo Ostos as the main act. The night promises a varied rhythm for all audiences.

Thursday and Friday: flamenco and pop

On Thursday 23, the Orquesta La Brújula will take over at 11:00 PM. After midnight, the Plaza de Los Belgas will welcome DeMarco Flamenco with his Bonito Tour. The artist from Utrera will perform songs from his albums Uno, Le sonrío al agua, and En una sola palabra, as well as his latest single Bonito and previews of his upcoming work, expected at the end of 2026. On Friday 24, the Plaza de la Estación will host the tribute 500 noches Sabina en las venas at 10:00 PM. At midnight, the Plaza de Los Belgas will resonate with the performance of Gonzalo Hermida, known for hits like La ciudad intermitente and La promesa. The Sevillian singer, who has garnered millions of streams on digital platforms, will offer an intimate yet energetic concert.

Grand Saturday: Café Quijano and tribute to Dúo Dinámico

On Saturday 25, the day of the patron Santiago, music will be concentrated on two stages. At 10:00 PM, the Plaza de la Estación will host a Tribute to Dúo Dinámico, revisiting the great classics of the Spanish duo. At midnight, the Plaza de Los Belgas will be the stage for Café Quijano, the Leonese trio formed by brothers Manuel, Óscar, and Raúl. They will present their latest work Miami 1990, which mixes new songs with hits like La Lola and Nada de na. The band, which has toured all over Spain, promises a show full of Latin rhythms and southern rock, perfect for closing the grand night.

Children's Sunday and festive closure

The program will conclude on Sunday 26 with a children's show at 7:00 PM in the Plaza de la Estación: Las aventuras de Coco y Pepe, by Cantajuegos, a proposal aimed at the little ones. The Town Hall recommends arriving early to enjoy all the activities. The Fiestas de Santiago Apóstol are a traditional event in Collado Villalba, attracting locals and visitors from the entire region. With a lineup that combines established artists and local talent, the town becomes a hub of free musical attraction during these days. The concerts are held outdoors, so it is advisable to bring chairs or blankets for added comfort.
