The Boadilla del Monte City Council allocated €11,077,000 to direct aid and tax benefits in 2025, with special attention to families, education, and local commerce.

The Boadilla del Monte City Council maintained its commitment in 2025 to alleviate the tax burden on residents and support families. From the municipal budget, which amounted to €83 million, a total of €11,077,000 was allocated to direct aid and tax benefits.

Of that amount, €4,022,000 was allocated to municipal grants and aid, specifically aimed at families, education, social action, commerce, and the associative fabric. The largest allocation was for schooling, with €2,260,000, followed by aid for childbirth and maintenance of children under three years old, which totalled €625,000.

Social emergency received €300,000, while the Commerce Vouchers received €250,000 to boost local commerce. Additionally, €100,000 was allocated to sustainable mobility, €210,000 to senior associations and citizen participation, €371,000 to social action and development cooperation, and €50,000 to sports promotion.

The second major block, amounting to €7,055,000, corresponds to tax benefits and exemptions. The Property Tax (IBI) accounted for the largest portion, with €3,747,000 across various concepts. This was followed by the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles, with €2,545,000, and the Tax on the Increase in the Value of Urban Land, with €595,000. Benefits in the Tax on Constructions, Installations, and Works totalled €146,000, and those for the Tax on Economic Activities amounted to €22,000.

These figures reflect a fiscal policy aimed at reducing the tax pressure on the pockets of Boadilla del Monte residents while maintaining investment in public services. The City Council emphasizes that the balance between income and expenditure allows for these measures to be sustained without compromising the quality of municipal services.
