Boadilla del Monte's Youth Centre concludes the year with historic figures: 17,142 children and young people participated in 125 activities between June 2025 and June 2026.
Boadilla del Monte's Youth Centre has closed the period from June 2025 to June 2026 with a record participation: 17,142 children and young people took part in the 125 activities organised, including courses, workshops, events, educational programmes, and stable services. In just the first half of 2026, over 9,500 users engaged with some of the centre's offerings.
The results coincide with the completion of the digital transformation of the service. From now on, 100% of registrations for activities, courses, and workshops are processed online through the official website www.juventudboadilla.org, which has streamlined procedures and facilitated access for users.
Among the permanent services that explain the high demand are English conversation courses, the playroom and leisure room, the municipal study room, rehearsal spaces for musicians and DJs, classroom rentals for groups, study and legal-labour advice, the Youth Information Centre of the Community of Madrid, and a specialised training space in Minecraft.
The offerings are divided into four main categories: healthy leisure (53.3%), training and employability (28.9%), educational support (11.1%), and prevention and social awareness (6.7%).
During the second half of 2025, 62 activities were held. These included family and youth outings to the Madrid Zoo, Parque Warner, Aquópolis, or Puy du Fou; the Boajam Summer Festival; the Young Tent at the patron saint festivities, Halloween, and Carnival; free digital camps; and courses in DJing, Sound Technician, Leisure and Free Time Monitor, or Lifeguarding, as well as family, sports, and technology workshops.
The first half of 2026 added another 45 activities, focused on educational support, professional training, healthy leisure, and prevention. Notable are the study technique courses for secondary school students, preparation days for the PAU, the Short Film Festival, the Carnival Young Tent, outings to Xanadú, and workshops in photography, makeup, magic, or capoeira, along with campaigns like Minors Not a Drop and awareness actions on alcohol consumption at parties.
One of the most valued programmes is Creative Minds, aimed at younger children, which focuses on psychomotor development, creativity, and values of coexistence in small groups. The Days Without School service, designed to facilitate family reconciliation during non-school periods, is also well received.
In the youth sector, the Youth Department continues to promote local talent with free semi-acoustic concerts featuring bands that rehearse in municipal venues, an initiative that enhances cultural dynamism among the municipality's youth.
