The Family Attention Centre (CAF) of Boadilla del Monte assisted 246 families during 2025. Family therapy was the most demanded service, accounting for 50.45% of the activities.

The Family Attention Centre (CAF) of Boadilla del Monte closed 2025 with a record of 246 families assisted, consolidating this municipal service as a reference resource in therapeutic, educational, and preventive support. Family therapy accounted for 50.45% of the activities, followed by psychopedagogical support for children with learning difficulties (21.3%) and therapeutic and psychoeducational groups (28.28%), which have gained importance as a preventive tool.

The CAF offers comprehensive and specialized care that adapts to the needs identified in each case. Among the programs it develops are individualized psychopedagogical support, couple therapy, family education, emotional regulation groups for children and adolescents, and positive parenting groups.

One of the new features of the year was the launch of the Conectad@s program, aimed at promoting the development of social skills and combating isolation among minors. Additionally, two specific groups were created for families with children exhibiting self-harming behaviors, a direct response to the needs communicated by educational centres and other resources in the municipality.

The service also maintains personal growth programs aimed at parents, as well as an urgent psychological care service, family guidance, and telematic support to facilitate access and promote work-life balance.

The agility in response is one of the CAF's strengths: the initial attention to families is provided within an average of 1.45 days from the request, allowing for quick assessment of each situation and referral to specialized resources when necessary.

Satisfaction surveys reflect an excellent evaluation. 100% of users state they would recommend the CAF, and the average score awarded to the service reaches the maximum possible: 5 out of 5.

Families in Boadilla del Monte who need this type of support can request it through the usual channels of the City Council, which coordinates the referral and the first appointment with the professional team at the centre.
