The Town Hall of Tres Cantos has renewed its agreement with the Integration and Solidarity Foundation (FINSOL) for the 'Classroom of Experience and Solidarity' project, with a contribution of €4,000.
The Town Hall of Tres Cantos has formalised the renewal of the collaboration agreement with the Integration and Solidarity Foundation (FINSOL) to continue the 'Classroom of Experience and Solidarity' project. The agreement, signed on 21 July 2026 by the mayor, Jesús Moreno, and the councillor for Family and Equality, Sonia Lolo, includes a municipal contribution of €4,000.
The programme is aimed at primary school students in vulnerable situations, offering academic support and personal accompaniment. The main objective is to reinforce equality of opportunities, prevent school failure, and promote the social inclusion of children with fewer resources.
During the signing, Mayor Jesús Moreno emphasised the importance of education as a tool for social transformation.
“Education is a fundamental tool to guarantee equality of opportunities,” said Moreno, who also highlighted FINSOL's work in supporting children and families so that minors can develop their full potential.
For her part, Councillor Sonia Lolo valued the collaboration between local administration and social entities. She pointed out that such initiatives help complement municipal support for families in greatest need, contributing to improving not only academic performance but also self-esteem, social skills, and personal development of minors.
The 'Classroom of Experience and Solidarity' project carries out actions aimed at preventing school dropout and failure. It offers reinforcement classes, individualised follow-up, and personal support, in addition to working to promote the social inclusion of children facing greater difficulties. The programme provides a learning and accompaniment environment that helps create new educational and social opportunities.
The renewal of this agreement is part of a municipal strategy aimed at reinforcing equality of opportunities from childhood. The Town Hall of Tres Cantos is committed to programmes that reduce educational inequalities and promote the well-being of minors.
In addition to its work in Tres Cantos, FINSOL has been developing various solidarity projects for over three decades. Among them, its summer programme for the temporary hosting of refugee children from Georgia stands out, an initiative that involves the collaboration of volunteer families from the Community of Madrid. Thanks to this project, minors enjoy a family, safe, and affectionate environment for several weeks, which contributes to improving their physical and emotional well-being.
