Journalists wishing to cover the bull runs in San Sebastián de los Reyes can apply from August 10. Collection will start from the 17th.
The San Sebastián de los Reyes City Council has initiated the procedure for media outlets to obtain accreditation that grants access to the areas reserved for the press during the bull runs of the festivities of the Most Holy Christ of Remedies, which take place from August 24 to 31. The bull runs will occur from August 25 to 31, and the application period for accreditation opens on August 10.
The application is made through an online form available on the municipal website (www.ssreyes.org), where applicants must prove their professional dedication, provide personal details, contact channels, and a passport-sized photograph. In the case of media outlets, each outlet will apply for accreditation for its photographer or TV camera operator.
Accreditation is essential for accessing the scaffolding and platforms installed along the bull run route, reserved exclusively for photographers and TV cameras. No accreditations will be issued to freelancers working for Facebook pages or similar, and those working independently must demonstrate their professionalism with samples of their work published in online or offline media.
Once the applications have been assessed, accreditations can be collected from August 17 at the concierge of the Municipal Services building (El Caserón), located in the Plaza de la Constitución, from 8:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours.
For reporters wishing to cover the bullfighting events at the Bullring, they must contact the company managing the venue at gloriaherrerosn@gmail.com. Accreditation for the concerts at the Adolfo Conde Municipal Auditorium and the football field on Calle Teide can be requested by sending an email to acreditaciones@ssreyes.org with their name, ID number, and media outlet.
During the festivities, the City Council's Communication Office will assist media outlets at the phone numbers 91 659 71 34 and 91 625 88 19. Additionally, after each bull run, a press conference will be held at the corner of Calle Real and Estafeta, a few minutes after the race concludes, providing data on incidents, the number of runners, and the audience.
The municipal website and Canal Norte TV digital will offer updated information: daily reports, audio from the press conferences, downloadable images, and the complete festival programme.
