Hankuk Club of San Sebastián de los Reyes has participated in an intense week of training in the United States, with seminars in Lynnwood and Atlanta, enhancing its international profile.

Hankuk Club, a reference point for taekwondo in San Sebastián de los Reyes, has taken a new step in its international projection after participating in a training tour in the United States. During the week of July 17, a delegation from the club took part in the Summer Training Camp organized by Washington United Taekwondo in Lynnwood, Washington, and subsequently in Atlanta, as part of the Harvest Olympic Program.

The expedition was composed of a large part of the senior team from Hankuk, including international figures such as Adriana Cerezo, Luana Márton, and Viviana Márton, along with several young talents from the club. The athletes shared high-level training sessions with American clubs, in an environment that the head physical trainer, Chevi, described as “excellent.” “There was a strong desire to do taekwondo, learn, and have fun,” he highlighted.

The first seminar, held on July 17 and 18 in Lynnwood, brought together athletes and coaches from various North American entities. The sessions focused on the exchange of training methodologies and technical refinement, aiming to strengthen ties between Spanish and American taekwondo. Members of Hankuk emphasized the high level of the sessions and the warm welcome from the hosts.

After this first stop, the tour continued in Atlanta, where the club participated in another Summer Training Camp organized by the Harvest Olympic Program. This new meeting allowed the athletes to broaden their competitive experience and consolidate the international presence of an entity that has become a reference point for Spanish taekwondo.

Hankuk Club, based in San Sebastián de los Reyes, has managed to position itself as one of the most important clubs in Spain in this discipline. Participation in these international camps is part of its strategy to continue training its athletes and establish alliances with other taekwondo powerhouses worldwide.

For the young talents of the club, the experience was a unique opportunity to compete with athletes from other countries and learn from top-level coaches. The atmosphere of camaraderie and good organization was highlighted by all participants, who returned to San Sebastián de los Reyes with a very positive assessment.

The tour reinforces the image of Hankuk Club as an entity that bets on internationalization and continuous training. With these types of initiatives, taekwondo in San Sebastián de los Reyes continues to grow and put the name of the municipality on the global sports map.

The club's next steps include preparing for new national and international competitions, aiming to continue achieving success and training future promises of Spanish taekwondo.
