The Summer Cinema, one of the most anticipated activities of the summer programme, will screen two films for all audiences this weekend: 'The Wild Robot' and 'Superman'. The sessions are free and take place in the Plaza de Toros, on Fridays and Saturdays in July at 22:30, while in August, the time will be moved forward to 22:00.
The first screening will take place today, Friday 24th July, with 'The Wild Robot'. This animated film tells the story of a robot that washes up on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to its surroundings, forming relationships with the animals and becoming the adoptive mother of a little orphaned goose. A proposal that combines adventure and emotions for the youngest and not so young.
Tomorrow, Saturday 25th July, it will be the turn of 'Superman', the new offering from James Gunn within the DC universe. The film presents the original superhero with a mix of epic action, humour, and heart, offering a Superman guided by compassion and belief in human goodness. The filmmaker injects his distinctive style into this reimagining of the iconic character.
The Summer Cinema of Torrejón de Ardoz has scheduled a wide calendar of titles for the coming weeks.
