Parque Europa in Torrejón de Ardoz hosts its traditional water, light, and sound show until September 27. This year, the 'Eurovision' show will be featured on Saturdays, showcasing the festival's most iconic themes.
The Torrejón de Ardoz City Council has launched a new edition of its classic Fountain Show at Parque Europa, which combines synchronized water jets, light displays, and live music. The event, which will run until September 27, has become a summer leisure reference in the Community of Madrid.
The main novelty this year is the premiere of the 'Eurovision' show, which will be performed every Saturday starting at 22:30. Attendees will be able to enjoy a selection of the most iconic songs from the popular music contest, choreographed with the movements of the cybernetic fountain.
On Fridays, the offering is 'Happiness', a cheerful and vibrant show designed to kick off the weekend with energy. On Sundays, however, the audience can travel back in time with 'Locos x los 80', a tribute to the music of that decade that invites singing and dancing.
All performances take place at the Greek Theatre of Parque Europa, an outdoor space with a capacity for about 700 people. Admission is free, although arriving early is recommended to secure a good spot, as the venue often fills up.
“Summer nights in Torrejón are unique and unrepeatable. Water, light, and sound will come together in a sensational show that will not leave anyone indifferent, and it's free,” highlighted the mayor, Alejandro Navarro.
Navarro also emphasized that this is “one of the many attractions of Parque Europa” and that, along with other municipal initiatives, it positions Torrejón de Ardoz as a cultural and free leisure destination during the summer.
The Fountain Show at Parque Europa has established itself as one of the most anticipated events of the summer season in the region. Every weekend, residents of Torrejón and other municipalities in Madrid come to the park to enjoy this sensory experience.
