With the 15 cent reduction still in effect, prices vary by up to 10 cents between stations. The most economical petrol station in the Community of Madrid is in El Álamo, with 95 octane petrol priced at €1.339 per litre.
The price of petrol remains a headache for drivers in Madrid, especially in July when travel increases. According to updated data from the Geoportal of the Ministry for Ecological Transition, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, the cheapest petrol station in the Community of Madrid for refuelling 95 octane petrol is located in El Álamo, on the local road M-404, kilometre 3.640, with a price of €1.339 per litre.
Low-cost petrol stations dominate the low price rankings
Close behind are several stations from the Plenergy and Ballenoil networks, which occupy most of the cheapest spots. In Alcorcón, two Plenergy petrol stations offer 95 octane petrol at €1.389/l, one on the M-506 Móstoles-Fuenlabrada road and another on Avenida Europa. Also in Fuenlabrada, the Alcampo hypermarket in the Loranca shopping centre has the same price, as does Ballenoil in Villaviciosa de Odón, on Avenida Quitapesares, 33.
In Móstoles, there are two low-cost options: Petroprix on Plasencia Street, 29, and Ballenoil on Puerto Cotos Street, 25, both at €1.389/l. For drivers in the Henares Corridor, the Plenergy petrol station in Meco, on Camino del Olivo, 1, is priced at €1.395/l, while the Alcampo in Alcalá de Henares, in the La Dehesa shopping centre (Madrid-Barcelona motorway, km 34), is at €1.399/l.
Where to fill up in the west and south without breaking the bank
In the western area, residents of Las Rozas, Majadahonda, and Pozuelo also have economical options. Ballenoil in Las Rozas (Cabo Rufino Lázaro Street, 7) is at €1.399/l, as is Petroprix in Majadahonda (Barbero de Sevilla Street, 2) and Ballenoil in Pozuelo de Alarcón (Pozuelo-Majadahonda road, km 2). Also in Majadahonda, Ballenoil on Cereza Street, 4, offers the same price.
In the metropolitan south, Humanes de Madrid has two petrol stations at €1.399/l: T9 on Avenida de Fuenlabrada, 31, and Ballenoil on Avenida Fuenlabrada, 6. In Fuenlabrada, there are also several options at that price: Plenergy on Luis Sauquillo Streets, 131 and 86, and Ballenoil on Aneto Street, 1. In Moraleja de Enmedio, Plenergy on Avenida de Fuenlabrada, 49, is also at €1.399/l. In Valdemoro, Área 117 – Valmor-Rompecubas (Narciso Monturiol Street, 28) completes the list at that same price.
For those moving around Pinto, Ballenoil on the M-841 road, kilometre 1, offers 95 octane petrol at €1.409/l, just one cent more expensive than the previous ones. In total, more than twenty petrol stations in the Community of Madrid maintain prices below €1.41 per litre, providing some relief for wallets during the summer travel wave.
“The difference between refuelling at the most expensive and the cheapest petrol station in Madrid can exceed 10 cents per litre. For a 50-litre tank, that means savings of over 5 euros,” industry sources say, recommending checking the Geoportal before filling up.
The government reduction of 15 cents per litre, still in effect, continues to be reflected in the final price, although it does not prevent differences between stations. Drivers in Madrid can take advantage of these rates to save on their daily commutes or weekend trips. For tomorrow, Wednesday, July 15, prices are expected to be updated again, so it is advisable to keep an eye on the variations.
