The most reported issues in Móstoles
According to data from the Town Hall of Móstoles, the most frequent reports are related to street cleaning, which account for 15% of the total. This is followed by pavements in poor condition (13%), waste containers (11%), and trees (7%). Problems with street furniture (4%) and playgrounds (3%) are also reported.
Since the service was launched in May 2017, a total of 55,752 incidents have been resolved. Each report is logged, and citizens can track its progress in real-time through the application.
“The application automatically locates the exact point where the user is, who can add a photograph and a brief description before sending the report,” municipal sources explain.
How the Línea Verde app works
To use the service, simply download the Línea Verde application, available on Google Play and the App Store, and select the municipality of Móstoles. The interface is intuitive: by pressing “New incident,” the category is chosen, it is automatically geolocated, and photos can be attached.
Once the report is sent, the Town Hall receives the notification and activates the repair protocols. The user receives mobile alerts each time the case is updated, until it is closed.
In addition to reporting incidents, the app allows for environmental inquiries through the “Make your inquiry” option. A team of specialists responds free of charge within a maximum of 24 hours.
Other available channels
Línea Verde is also accessible from the website www.lineaverdemostoles.com, where residents can find guides on best practices, ecological tips, and municipal information. Additionally, there is a helpline: 902 193 768, operational Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 hours.
For the resident of Móstoles, this tool represents a direct and effective way to improve daily life in the municipality. Whether it's a broken streetlight or a deteriorated playground, with a couple of clicks, the problem is logged and on its way to being resolved.
And yes, perhaps the most useful thing is that, while you wait for the repair, at least you have the peace of mind of knowing that your complaint hasn't been lost in a municipal drawer.
