The Móstoles City Council will install a giant screen at Parque Finca Liana to broadcast live the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. The venue will open at 19:00 with a DJ, and access will be exclusively through gates 5 and 12.

Residents of Móstoles who wish to experience the World Cup final in company have an appointment this Sunday, July 19, at Parque Finca Liana. The City Council has prepared a giant screen to follow the Spain-Argentina match, a game that promises strong emotions.

The venue will open its doors at 19:00 hours and will feature musical entertainment by a DJ to warm up the atmosphere before the kickoff. Entry to the venue will be exclusively through gates 5 and 12, aiming to ensure smooth and safe access.

Security Measures for the Big Event

For safety reasons, the council has established clear rules: only drinks in plastic containers and without caps will be allowed. Entry with glass containers is completely prohibited, a common measure at large gatherings to avoid risks.

Attendees are advised to arrive early to avoid queues and enjoy the pre-match atmosphere. The local police will increase surveillance in the area to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Photography Contest with the Meninas

The Móstoles City Council has organised an Instagram photography contest featuring the meninas of Parque Finca Liana as the stars. Participants must take a photo with these figures, share the image with the hashtag #meninasmostoles, and follow the municipal account. The three photos with the most 'likes' will win a mini-goesca menina.

This initiative aims to engage residents and add a cultural touch to the football night. The meninas, installed in the park, have become a symbol of the municipality and will now also be the centre of attention on social media.

Móstoles Dressed in Red and Yellow

To support the Spanish national team, the City Council will illuminate the façade of the town hall and the Monument to Liberty in Plaza del Sol of PAU-4 this weekend with the colours of the Spanish flag. This gesture adds to the displays of support from other municipalities in the Community of Madrid.

The World Cup final pits Spain against Argentina, two teams that have arrived at the event with impeccable records. For Móstoles fans, watching the match on a giant screen is an opportunity to share the excitement with hundreds of neighbours.

"We are going to experience a magical night, cheering together for our team," said a municipal spokesperson.

The City Council reminds that the venue will remain open until the end of the match and the subsequent celebration, if the result is favourable. Public transport is recommended to reach the area, as parking nearby will be limited.

For those who miss it, there will always be the home TV, but it certainly won't be the same. Móstoles is preparing for a night of football, selfies with meninas, and, with a bit of luck, a new world title to celebrate in style.
