The Portuguese goalkeeper Ana Pinto, 25 years old, returns to Móstoles Futsal (formerly ENCE Marín) after a season in the club's coaching staff. She will share the goal with young Maialen, who comes from the youth academy.

The Móstoles Futsal has completed its first signing for the 2026-27 season. It is goalkeeper Ana Pinto, 25 years old, who returns to the discipline of the Móstoles club after having played in the first team during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons in the top division. The Portuguese goalkeeper never fully disconnected from the entity, as last season she was part of the coaching staff for the youth team and played some matches with the reserve team.

A return with elite experience

Ana Sofía Rosado Pinto, born in Évora (Portugal) on September 19, 2000, arrived in Móstoles in the summer of 2023 from Inter SC Portugal. In her first stint at the club, she competed for the starting position with Patri Arruti under the guidance of coach Ramiro López Díaz. After the team's relegation to the Second Division at the end of the 2024-25 season, Pinto decided not to renew her contract as a player, but she integrated into the club's technical structure.

During the past season, the goalkeeper balanced her role as a goalkeeper coach in the youth team with some appearances in the reserve team. In fact, she played the first official match of the season, corresponding to the Copa Galicia against Exlabesa Leis Pontevedra, although she played as a field player, according to club sources. Her last match as a starter with the first team was precisely against Móstoles Futsal, then a rival, in a match of the 2024-25 season in the top division that ended in a 3-3 draw.

Goalkeeping secured with dual approach

With Ana Pinto's return, coach Raúl Jiménez already has the goal covered for the upcoming season in the Second Division. The experienced Portuguese goalkeeper will share the position with Maialen, a young goalkeeper trained in the club's youth academy who has already proven her worth in lower categories. The combination of experience and youth is one of the sporting management's strategies to face the season with guarantees.

Móstoles Futsal, which competes in Group 5 of the Second Division, seeks to consolidate itself after last year's relegation. The Móstoles fans hope that Ana Pinto's return will bring defensive solidity and leadership to a young dressing room. The club plans to announce more signings in the coming weeks, aiming to fight for promotion.

The Portuguese goalkeeper has expressed her excitement about her return:

“I am very happy to be back home. The club believed in me when I arrived from Portugal, and now I want to repay that trust on the pitch. Maialen has a lot of talent, and together we will form a good duo.”
For his part, coach Raúl Jiménez highlighted the importance of having a player of her experience:
“Ana knows the category and the club. Her versatility and character are a plus for the team.”

The first pre-season match for Móstoles Futsal is scheduled for mid-August, although the official Second Division calendar will be known in the coming weeks. Season ticket holders will be able to renew their passes starting August 1, with prices ranging from 60 to 120 euros.
