The Fever Hub Madrid | Immersive Experiences has opened its doors to an adventure that promises to transport visitors to the golden age of ancient Egypt. This is 'The Horizon of Khufu', an exhibition that combines history, technology, and excitement to explore the Great Pyramid of Giza like never before.
The exhibition will remain open until 31 July and allows visitors to delve into the depths of the iconic pyramids, meet the goddess Bastet, or observe the mummification process. Thanks to a virtual reality headset, attendees will feel as if they are travelling back in time to the heart of one of the seven wonders of the world.
The experience is designed to be as faithful as possible. After years of research and data collection on-site, in collaboration with Peter Der Manuelian, a professor of Egyptology, and his team from Harvard University's Giza Project, the recreation has come to life with a solid scientific foundation.
During the tour, visitors will be able to explore the mysterious passages of the pyramid, enter the Queen's Chamber, and encounter the goddess Bastet. The proposal combines architecture, science, and history to offer an authentic immersion, according to the organisers.
The activity lasts approximately 45 minutes of immersive walking experience, although it is recommended to reserve around an hour in total. It is designed for those aged 10 and over, and the venue is accessible for wheelchair users, making it suitable for a diverse audience.
