The Plaza de la Constitución will host the Night of the Owl on September 13, with two tribute bands and DJ El Pulpo closing the Patron Saint Festivities.

The Plaza de la Constitución of Arganda del Rey will host the Night of the Owl on Sunday, September 13, the final evening of live music for the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities. Two tribute bands will provide the grand finale with a tribute to Melendi and the best of Spanish indie.

The event will kick off at 22:00 hours and will allow attendees to relive the greatest hits of the Asturian composer, as well as tracks from Vetusta Morla, Viva Suecia, Arde Bogotá, and Carolina Durante, names that have marked the Spanish music scene in recent years.

The night will be hosted by El Pulpo, a DJ and presenter from Madrid who is already a regular at the Arganda Carnival. This will be his first time on the stage of the Plaza de la Constitución, a challenge he faces with the desire to “have a good time as a finale to the festivities.”

“Many people are working to ensure that what we experience this September is unforgettable,” said the mayor of Arganda, Alberto Escribano.

The Patron Saint Festivities of Arganda del Rey will be held from September 5 to 16, and the Night of the Owl will be the last major event before the celebrations conclude. The performance is free to access and is designed for all audiences.
