The Municipal Library Ricardo León in Galapagar has been applying a special summer schedule since August 1. The centre will remain open only in the mornings, from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 and 14:00 hours.
Throughout the month of August, the library will close its doors in the afternoons, as well as on Saturdays and Sundays. The Galapagar Town Council has informed that this measure responds to the summer period and will exclusively affect this month.
The council recommends that users plan their visits and loans in advance to avoid inconveniences. This reduction in service means adjusting the return of books or the reservation of rooms to the new time slot.
The library, located in the municipality, is a highly used resource during the summer, especially by families and students. With this change, those wishing to use its facilities will need to concentrate their visits in the morning hours.
The usual schedule will resume from September, when the Ricardo León Library will return to its full opening hours, including afternoons and weekends.
