The Móstoles City Council, through the Department of Education and Culture, keeps its Summer Cinema cycle active, which screens a movie outdoors and free of charge every Saturday in August at the park opposite the Zoco, at the corner of Calle del Castaño and Calle Eucalipto, in Parque Coimbra.
The next screening will be on Saturday, August 1, with 'The Ark of Noah' (2024), an animated film nominated for Best Animated Film at the Platino Awards for Ibero-American Cinema. The story follows two mice, Vini, a stage-frightened poet, and Tito, a charming guitarist, who sneak onto the Ark to prevent a confrontation between carnivores and herbivores.
The cycle will continue on Saturday, August 8, with 'Lilo and Stitch' (2025), the live-action remake of the Disney classic, which tells the story of the friendship between a lonely Hawaiian girl and a runaway alien. The final screening will be on August 15 with 'A Minecraft Movie' (2025), starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, an adaptation of the popular video game where four characters are transported to a block world where they must overcome challenges to return.
