The Adolfo Suárez Cultural Centre in Tres Cantos has published the programme of courses and workshops for the 2026/2027 academic year. Registrations will begin in September, with different dates for former and new students.
The Adolfo Suárez Cultural Centre in Tres Cantos is ready with its offer of courses and workshops for the 2026/2027 academic year, which will run from 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027. The programme includes disciplines such as visual arts, languages, body expression, theoretical subjects, and image and new technologies, with the registration period starting in September.
According to the Tres Cantos City Council, applications must be submitted in person at the information desk for workshops at the cultural centre, from Monday to Thursday, between 10:30 and 13:30 and 16:00 and 19:00. The complete brochure with the description of the workshops is already available for consultation on the municipal website.
Former students who participated in the same activity during the previous academic year can reserve their place on 2 and 3 September, provided they are up to date with payments. The payment period for this group extends from 2 to 4 September. For other applicants, registration will be organised by thematic areas throughout the first half of September.
Registration calendar for new students
The City Council has established a staggered calendar for new registrations, according to the family of workshops. Thus, on 7 September, the registration period opens for visual arts and crafts; on 8 September, for languages; on 9 September, for body expression; on 10 September, for theoretical workshops; and on 14 September, for image and new technologies. On 15 and 16 September, applications can be formalised for all workshops that still have places available.
Once the registration period closes, a draw will take place on 21 September to allocate places in those activities that exceed the maximum number of participants. The order will be established alphabetically by the first surname, and not by the order of application submission. The final lists will be published that same day at 17:00, and the payment period for new students will run from 21 to 27 September.
Each applicant may register for a maximum of two different activities, and second options will not be accepted as alternatives. In dance workshops and 'Getting to Know Madrid', registration is done by couple, and only the first application received will be considered if two are submitted.
Payment and discounts
Fees will be paid quarterly by direct debit, and no payment should be made before appearing on the final list of admitted participants. The payment receipt must be submitted to the cultural centre within five days of the publication of the lists, or sent by email to coord.talleres3c@gmail.com. If not presented within that period, the place will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
The programme includes discounts for people with disabilities, large families, holders of the youth card, and the senior card, according to the Regulatory Ordinance on Public Prices. To benefit from these, it is necessary to be registered in Tres Cantos and present the original documents that prove the right to the discount at the time of submitting the registration. The discount applies to the registration fee, and students with a disability degree of 65% or higher will also receive a reduction in the quarterly fee.
Withdrawals and conditions
If a student wishes to withdraw, they must notify the cultural centre to avoid being charged for the next quarter. The deadlines for notification are before 15 December for the second quarter and before 15 March for the third. Refunds of fees will only be made in cases of undue charges, cancellation of the workshop due to lack of students, or withdrawal for duly justified medical reasons.
Places are personal and non-transferable, and each activity requires a minimum number of students to be held. If a group does not reach that minimum, the Management may suspend the workshop, offering an alternative if possible. Vacancies that arise throughout the course will be filled in order of the waiting list.
The cultural offer in Tres Cantos aims to respond to residents over 16 years old, except for activities specifically aimed at minors. With this programme, the municipality maintains its commitment to training and creative leisure throughout the academic year, with a calendar that follows the working schedule of the Community of Madrid and school holiday periods.
For more information, interested parties can consult the information brochure on the municipal website or visit the Adolfo Suárez Cultural Centre. Registrations will only be formalised at the workshop information desk, and the draw for places will be held on 21 September.
