The municipality of Lozoyuela-Navas-Sieteiglesias, located in the heart of the Sierra Norte, has launched a new tourist map. The Community of Madrid, through the Regional Transport Consortium, has published this resource with the aim of helping residents and visitors navigate the area better and make use of public transport to explore their surroundings.
The map details the existing transport network, including intercity lines that connect the capital with other locations in the Sierra Norte, as well as the main routes and stops. It also includes the location of public facilities and basic services, providing a comprehensive and accessible view of the area and facilitating both orientation and travel planning.
Lozoyuela is situated along the A-1 corridor and has a population of around 1,300 inhabitants. Its proximity to the Guadarrama National Park and its role as a connection point between the capital and the northern region make it an attractive destination for nature and active tourism.
This map adds to the collection that the regional government has been promoting to improve user information and encourage the use of public transport as a gateway to points of interest. In recent years, the Community of Madrid has expanded this collection to include municipalities such as Alcalá de Henares, Aranjuez, Chinchón, and San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
