The Councillor for Festivities, Nacho Aceña, has highlighted that these festivities make Colmenar Viejo a regional reference. “The concerts with top national artists, orchestras, musical tributes, street parties, the Bullfighting Fair, children's activities, the non-profit association stalls, and religious events will once again fill our streets with life,” he noted.
The stalls of non-profit entities will be set up in the Plaza de Eulogio Carrasco, where there will also be a space for DJs. The hours will be from 00:00 to 4:00 AM on Thursday, August 27, and from 00:00 to 6:00 AM from Friday, August 28, to Tuesday, September 1. To ensure safety, access will be controlled, and entry with glass or metal objects will be restricted.
The Tent at the Explanada of the Bullring, in collaboration with Cervecería 'La Sede', will offer music and activities from August 27 to September 2. There will be concerts, commercial and techno music, ballroom dancing, 80s music, and tastings. The hours vary by day, but in general, it will open from midday until the early hours of the morning.

Mayor Blázquez has expressed gratitude for the work of the Civil Guard, Local Police, and Civil Protection, who will ensure safety during the festivities. He has also highlighted the municipality's growth in recent years, which has positioned it among the fastest-growing in the Community of Madrid. “Every year, hundreds of new families choose Colmenar Viejo to develop their life projects here, attracted by the opportunities and future they find in our city,” he stated.
For residents and visitors, the festivities will entail a range of activities that will kick off with the pre-concerts and intensify from August 28. It is recommended to check the full programme on the municipal website to not miss any events.
