The Spanish National Team, world champions, lands this Monday at Barajas with the Cup and celebrates with a parade and a grand night party in Cibeles square. A massive reception is expected.

The Spanish Football Team returns this Monday to Madrid after being crowned world champions in the United States, and they do so with the second star on their chest. The delegation will land at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport around 12:50 PM, coming from Newark, aboard an A350 from Iberia that brings the trophy with it. From there, a day of celebration will begin, culminating in a grand party at Cibeles square.

Landing and first official events

The plane will touch down at noon, and after the protocol procedures, the delegation will move on to the institutional events. At 4:30 PM, the Royal House will receive the team in an audience, a meeting that precedes the visit to the Moncloa complex. These official gestures are already a tradition in the great sporting achievements of La Roja.

The Madrid fans will be able to follow every step live, although the most anticipated moment will come later. The team will get on an open-top bus to tour the streets of the capital, showing the World Cup to the thousands of supporters expected to crowd the route.

Parade through central Madrid

The open-top bus route will pass by the most emblematic places in Madrid: from the Barajas area, the convoy will head towards the centre, following a route that will culminate in Cibeles square. There, around 9:00 PM, the players and coaching staff will present the trophy to the gathered fans.

To entertain the wait, a stage has been set up next to the Palacio de Comunicaciones from 6:00 PM with performances by top-level DJs and prominent artists. The organisation has prepared a programme of music and entertainment to keep the festive atmosphere alive until the arrival of the protagonists.

A success that unites the entire Community of Madrid

The celebration is not only a milestone for Spanish football but will also mobilise thousands of residents from the Community of Madrid. From Alcalá de Henares to Móstoles, passing through Alcobendas and Getafe, fans from all corners of the region are expected to travel to the centre to participate in the celebration. The municipal transport company has reinforced the metro and bus lines connecting to the Cibeles area and the Castellana promenade, and the use of public transport is recommended to avoid traffic jams.

The Spanish National Team thus adds a second star to its crest, an achievement that places it back at the pinnacle of world football. For the people of Madrid, seeing the Cup in Cibeles will be the highlight of a historic day, with an atmosphere that promises to be unforgettable.

"It is a pride for Madrid to host this celebration. The city is rallying behind the Team, and from the City Council, we have prepared a special device to ensure everything runs safely and joyfully," declared the mayor, José Luis Martínez-Almeida.

The day, subject to timings, will also depend on the response of the fans, which is anticipated to be massive. The organisation reminds that access to Cibeles square will be free, but it is recommended to arrive early to secure a good spot. The party will continue well into the night, with the Cup as the main protagonist.

For those who cannot attend, RTVE will broadcast the main events live, and the National Team's social media will update key moments. A unique opportunity to celebrate a title that brings Spain back to the top of world football.
