Mayor Alejandro Navarro visited the new Midas facilities at Calle Metano, 21, which have been operating for seven months.

Torrejón de Ardoz adds a new Midas workshop, the second of the company in the city. The comprehensive car maintenance chain has opened its doors at Calle Metano, 21, a establishment that has been in operation for seven months and has generated seven jobs. Mayor Alejandro Navarro Prieto visited the facilities accompanied by the centre manager, José Manuel Ranz, to learn first-hand about the activity and support the business commitment to the municipality.

Navarro, who has directly taken on the responsibilities of Economic Development and Employment, emphasised during the tour the importance of national companies like Midas choosing Torrejón de Ardoz for expansion. “I wish you all the luck in the world, and from the City Council, we want to support and back these initiatives that also contribute to creating jobs and generating wealth in the city,” said the mayor.

The new centre is presented as a benchmark in sustainable mobility. Midas places the customer at the centre of its strategy and bets on innovation, digital transformation, and sustainability, according to company sources. The goal is to “care for every driver sustainably,” offering solutions that respond to the new challenges of urban mobility.

The workshop is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 to 18:00 and Fridays from 8:00 to 16:00. The opening of this second establishment strengthens Midas' presence in Torrejón de Ardoz, a city that the City Council considers key for the economic development of the area.

The mayor's visit is part of the policy to support the local business fabric. Navarro highlighted that the arrival of new companies generates wealth and opportunities for the residents of Torrejón. “It evidences the company's confidence in the economic and business potential of the city,” he added.

With this centre, Midas consolidates its network in the Henares Corridor, an area with a high population density and traffic. The company, a leader in car maintenance services, has more than 200 workshops in Spain.

The residents of Torrejón de Ardoz can now benefit from the services of the new workshop, which include inspections, tyres, brakes, suspension, and quick mechanics. The extended hours allow adaptation to the needs of drivers.

The City Council of Torrejón de Ardoz continues to promote initiatives to attract investment and employment. The opening of this second Midas centre is a demonstration of business confidence in the city, which has become a hub for national and international firms.
