The beach soccer section of AD Torrejón CF has closed a historic season by being crowned champion of the Madrid Federation Cup and runner-up in the 2nd Division league. Additionally, the Torrejón team finished in fourth place in the Spanish Federation Cup, narrowly missing out on the podium after losing in the penalty shootout.
The team, managed by the Torrejón entity, managed to come back from a 0-3 deficit against Spartan Beach Soccer in the national tournament, but ultimately succumbed at the fateful spot. A bittersweet ending that does not tarnish an outstanding season for a club that has established itself as a regional benchmark in this discipline.
AD Torrejón CF beach soccer was founded in 2019 and has since accumulated several titles at the regional level. It has competed several times in the 1st Division and even participated in the Champions League of the modality, a record that places it among the most prominent clubs in the Community of Madrid.
The squad includes players with experience in leagues from Italy and Portugal, as well as internationals from the under-20 teams of Spain and Peru, from Morocco, and the captain of the Norwegian national team. A mix of talent and experience that has paid off this season.
The mayor of Torrejón de Ardoz, Alejandro Navarro, wanted to congratulate the team for their performance:

The club's next challenge will be to maintain its competitive level and continue growing in a discipline that gains followers every year. For now, the Torrejón fans can already boast of having one of the best beach soccer teams in the region.
