The Madrid town has revealed the posters for the XXXVII Vid de Oro Novilladas Fair, which will take place from September 5 to 15. The event, held at the Montserrat Caballé Auditorium, also paid tribute to two key figures of the local bullfighting tradition.
The Montserrat Caballé Auditorium in Arganda del Rey hosted the official presentation of the bullfighting posters for the 2026 Patron Saint Festivals this Saturday, with the XXXVII Vid de Oro Novilladas Fair as the main attraction. The event, led by journalist Vanesa Santos, brought together fans, industry representatives, and local authorities, who learned firsthand about the festivities planned from September 5 to 15.
Tribute to two promoters of the plaza clearing
The gala also served to pay tribute to Mauricio García 'Mauri' and Dionisio Salcedo 'Dioni', two individuals closely linked to the bullfighting tradition of Arganda. The mayor, Alberto Escribano, highlighted their careers and recalled that both were promoters of the well-known plaza clearing, thanking them for their selfless dedication over the years.
