The Alcalá de Henares City Council has begun the comprehensive renovation works of Núñez de Guzmán street, a long-standing demand from residents. The project, funded 95% by the Community of Madrid, will transform the paving, sidewalks, and accessibility of the Puerta de Madrid neighbourhood.

The mayor of Alcalá de Henares, Judith Piquet, supervised the start of the comprehensive renovation works of Núñez de Guzmán street in the Puerta de Madrid neighbourhood this Thursday. The project, with an investment of nearly €1.7 million, is 95% financed by the Regional Investment Programme (PIR) of the Community of Madrid.
