The Asisa Joventut announced on Saturday the signing of American forward Kwan Cheatham until June 30, 2027. The 30-year-old player, standing at 2.06 meters, arrives from Reggio Emilia in the Italian Serie A, where he averaged 11.2 points and 3.7 rebounds per game over the last two seasons.
A specialist from long range
Cheatham stands out for his ability to score from long distance, with a 36.4% success rate from three-point range during his time in Italy. Additionally, he is a versatile player, with good physicality and the ability to create advantages both near the basket and away from it. His experience in the Liga Endesa is extensive: he has worn the jerseys of Fuenlabrada and Coviran Granada, accumulating three seasons and 84 official matches in the Spanish competition.
A long-term reinforcement
The new green-and-black player, who holds an Italian passport, has also competed in Israel and France. His three-season contract demonstrates the club's confidence in his medium-term performance.
