The white club is considering the temporary departure of the Brazilian forward, who refuses to leave the Bernabéu and wants to convince Mourinho in pre-season.

Real Madrid is facing the summer transfer market with several pending decisions in attack, and one of the most delicate concerns Endrick. The young Brazilian, who has returned after a loan at Olympique Lyon, aims to earn a place in the white squad, but the sports management does not rule out a new temporary departure to free up space in the attack.

According to club sources, coach José Mourinho will closely monitor both Endrick and Gonzalo García during training and pre-season friendly matches. Both forwards have a chance to stay, but the competition is fierce: Real Madrid has numerous offensive alternatives, which could leave one of them out of the initial squad.

The aim of the sports management is to lighten the squad before finalising new signings. In this context, the loan of Endrick is once again an option being considered internally, although the player has other plans.

Endrick resists leaving

The player's camp has made it clear that they do not contemplate a new loan. After his time at Lyon, where he gained minutes and experience, the Brazilian believes the time has come to settle at Santiago Bernabéu. His intention is to show Mourinho that he can compete for a spot in the starting eleven, even if it is as a substitute.

“Endrick wants to stay and fight for a place. He believes he is ready to play for Real Madrid and does not want to go out on loan again,” sources close to the player state.

The forward's representatives have conveyed this stance to the club, which has not yet made a definitive decision. The coming weeks will be crucial, as the coaching staff will evaluate the performance of all players before announcing market movements.

More movements in the white market

Endrick is not the only one whose future is up in the air. Real Madrid is also considering the loan of Franco Mastantuono, another young talent who has attracted interest from several teams. Additionally, the club would be open to listening to permanent offers for Eduardo Camavinga, although his departure is not certain.

Squad planning will intensify as international players return after their commitments with national teams. Mourinho wants to have the complete group to make definitive decisions before the market closes.

For Madrid fans, the uncertainty surrounding Endrick generates excitement. The 20-year-old Brazilian arrived at the club with the label of a great promise, but he has yet to establish himself. If he ultimately stays, he will have to seize every opportunity to prove he can be the generational replacement for the white attack.

The outcome of this story will be known in the coming weeks when Mourinho defines the squad with which Real Madrid will face the 2026-2027 season. In the meantime, Endrick is working hard to convince his coach and avoid another loan that would take him away from the Bernabéu.
