CD Nuevo Boadilla and Siello FC have sealed an alliance that creates Club Siello Nuevo Boadilla, the first team to compete in Third RFEF, the fifth tier of Spanish football. The union will allow the local youth academy to have a direct path to national football.
Boadilla del Monte's football once again has a team in the national category. CD Nuevo Boadilla and Siello FC have signed a strategic agreement whereby the latter fully integrates into the structure of the former, resulting in Club Siello Nuevo Boadilla, which will compete in Third RFEF next season, the fifth tier of Spanish football.
The union, announced this week, means that the municipality regains a representative in national competition after several years of absence. The new club will absorb Siello FC's place in Third RFEF and will compete under the traditional colours of Nuevo Boadilla, with a unique organisational management.
A youth academy with direct access to the national category
The alliance, according to club sources, "represents a decisive step" in the growth strategy of Nuevo Boadilla, an entity that has nearly 2,000 players across all its categories. The incorporation of the first team into Third RFEF completes a comprehensive sports structure that connects grassroots football with national football.
Players trained in the local youth academy will now have the opportunity to develop their entire sports career without needing to leave the municipality. The management has emphasised that the goal is to strengthen the club's identity and provide children and young people with a nearby sports reference and a real promotion goal.
High-profile rivals for the Boadilla fans
Presence in Third RFEF will allow local fans to enjoy high-level matches in the municipality every fortnight. Among the rivals visiting Boadilla del Monte are CF Fuenlabrada, which competed in Primera RFEF just a few seasons ago; the CD Leganés reserve team; CDC Moscardó; and classics of the category such as Las Rozas CF.
For the Boadilla fan, this means being able to see historic teams from Madrid football live without leaving home. Home matches will be played at the Nuevo Boadilla ground, with a schedule that promises thrilling emotions.
Siello FC: a club with recent history
Siello FC was originally founded in 1992 under the name Fútbol Club Villanueva del Pardillo. In 2024, it was acquired by the investment group Siello Football Group, which renamed it Siello FC. Now, with the integration into Nuevo Boadilla, the club changes its headquarters and identity but retains its place in Third RFEF.
The merger has been received with optimism in the municipality, where it is expected that the new sports project will attract more young people to grassroots football and revive local support. After all, seeing teams like Fuenlabrada or Leganés B in your town every two weeks is not something everyone can experience. And all without leaving Boadilla.
